Gunter & Co was appointed as lead designers for the completion of the interior fit-out and the FF&E design stage of this exceptional newly-built ski lodge. The 9-bedroom family estate is located a stones’ throw from one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the U.S, Lake Tahoe. The near 20,000 square foot property offers double height living spaces, exceptional mountain views and all leisure amenities.
Our studio was tasked with bringing a bit of British and European design aesthetic to the the traditional American ski lodge. We supported the local contractor through the final construction and fit out stage to achieve the design our clients were after. FF&E was sourced primarily from our network of suppliers stateside, with some unique pieces shipping from our UK and European suppliers. Using our trusted local agents for shipping, storage, handling & installation we completed the entire FF&E design, procurement and installation within a period of 5 months.
